Marina Trouch
Marina, the ASPIRE Dance Competition
and Scholarship Convention Program
Assistant, is from Voronezh, Russia.
Marina studied to become a fashion
designer at the Tailor and Design School
in Russia. She moved to the U.S. several
years ago when her husband, Dmitri, was
offered a collegiate gymnastics coaching
position at the University of Iowa. Marina
now offers her talents in the United States,
while her sister provides costume design
for Russia’s most notorious ice skaters.
Currently, Marina designs costumes for dance recitals, dance
competitions, and professional productions, as well as dress
designs for participants in beauty pageants. Marina specializes in
dance costume design for boys and men, since there is a
tremendous need for costumes for this constituency in the dance
world!
Marina is always very motivating and enthusiastic to all she
encounters and looks forward to working with you and ensuring
that teachers, parents, and students have a positive experience at
ASPIRE!
