GEORGE DE LA PEÑA was a former dancer with
American Ballet Theater where he danced many
principal roles and worked with some of the
greatest choreographers of our time. He trained
at the famed School of American Ballet in New
York City under the direction of George
Balanchine. He is currently serving as the Artistic
Director for The Joffrey Ballet School in New
York, as well as Professor of Dance for the
University of Iowa Dance Department.
Some of George's other credits include principal
